How high can we load the bin?

It’s important to make sure your bin is loaded level or below level. This will allow for our drivers to tarp and transport your load in a safe manner. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us abide by the road safety standards set forth by The Province of British Columbia.

How much notice do you need to order a bin?

We appreciate as much notice as possible for scheduling purposes. However, Action understands that situations can and do arise where time is of the essence. Your needs are important to us. Give Action Bins a call and we’ll make it work!

What is the maximum weight allowed in the bin?

Each of our bins is priced according to a specific weight cap based on the size and content of the bin. Our friendly staff is waiting to answer all your questions.

Where do you place the bin?

There are several considerations to make when placing a bin. Aspects such as the turning radius of the truck, space needed to drop the bin, power lines, tree branches, surfaces, fencing and carports can all influence where our driver can place the bin. We give our driver the final say on determining if a bin is safe to place where you want it. We ask that you respect their experience and have an alternative plan if your first choice doesn’t work.

Can I place a bin in my driveway?

Yes, you can place a bin in your driveway. We do our part to protect surfaces from possible damage by setting dunnage wood under the rollers of each bin for driveway placements.

Can I place a bin on the road?

It is very important that you check with your municipal regulations regarding placing bins on the street. You may require a permit. We can assist in this area with numbers to call for assistance.

How much room do I need to place a container?

The bins “roll-off” the rear of the truck. This will require up to an additional 50 feet to place. On the street this will be approximately 4 car lengths.

How long can I keep the bin?

Action Bins offers 1 week free rental on all bins. If you need it longer, no problem, everything is doable. We charge a nominal fee for each additional week.

Do I call the office for pickup?

Yes, you have to call the office to schedule a pickup

What if I need another container?

Call us and we will get you an empty bin as soon as possible.

What materials are not accepted?

If you have ordered a bin that contains garbage only and is destined for a Metro Vancouver transfer station or landfill. Please follow link for complete list.

As a waste management company, we believe it is our responsibility to ensure that materials are properly recycled whenever possible. Please note that commercial loads are inspected by disposal site employees for high percentages of banned, recyclable materials. Loads that arrive at the disposal facilities containing banned materials can be assessed a surcharge.

How do I pay for the bin?

We ask that all retail customers pre pay before we drop the bin at your location. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or pre approved cheque.

How much does it cost?

We have a wide array of pricing. Each type of load is different and we offer different sized bins, so we will price each load accordingly. Please call us for specific pricing. When you call, please have your location, type of product you wish to dispose of and approximate amount. This will help us make the right decision for you.

We're able to recycle close to 100% of our customers' waste. We continually strive to find new ways to recycle our disposal waste.
